The hosts were super friendly and hospitable and did our laundry for free and even walked us to some good food places. Its close to public transport and shops and good value for money.

Door to room was hard to open and close and right next to where the hosts were sleeping so we had to be very quiet coming later back to the guesthouse. There was only 1 shower with toilet for the whole guesthouse.

Everything was perfect for me. The owners have been very nice and accomodating. Even stayed up late to wait for our arrival. Would definitely recommend the place to my friends who are planning to go to Korea soon. Surely, I’ll come back and would definitely stay again with them. 감사합니다! ️

- Location is great, close to the Chungjeongno subway station situated on lines #5 (purple) and #2 (green) - Friendly owners - Suitable for travelers on a budget

- The accommodation simply isn't what it's advertised to be: "Double Room" is an overstatement; our bunk bed was in the corner of the owner's living room, separated from the rest of the room by a curtain screen - The other guests were very loud and inconsiderate during the night and it wasn't regulated by the owners in any way

The host helped with luggage (not easy on the stairs).

I booked a double room with ensuite bath. We were given a barely curtained off bunk bed in the middle of the reception/living room, and the bathroom was shared by all. Toiletries were like the dredges of what the family used. The wifi wasn't working and other guests were complaining. . . I tried letting them tap into my wifi. Before 10 our host rather condescendingly told us to be quiet (we were not even talking or making any noise, it was more of a warning-- but we were in the reception with a partial curtain). After midnight the owners came in, turned on the lights full-bright and tried to fix the internet for the other guests, and ended up in a loud argument with each other. We had a talk, they were apologetic, but I was humiliated enough (this was the last night before sending my "daughter" back to China for university, and I was embarrassed not just by the room, but by the hosts' behavior. I took videos of the hosts arguing, loudly, in the middle of the night. I do not get how this place gets such a high score? (I am including photos of our "room". The curtain wasn't even all the way around it-- anyone could look or come in! There was a sign that said the owners weren't responsible for belongings and theft, but there was no where to lock anything or even have any privacy! It was much worse than a dorm room! which I would not have booked!)

- The apartment fits better to Airbnb, more a homestay than a Guesthouse - Price for the accommodation is a bit high - The first night we had to sleep in their living room. A textile room divider separated us from the room. Hardly any privacy. The second night, we got our own room. Small, but more privacy. Keep an eye on your booking, so that you will get your own room.

The location on the #2 Circle line is useful. There are restaurants around.

A U-pipe on the washrooms would be a great idea. Keeps out the sewage gases.

The owners are very helpful and friendly, amazing people. Perfect location right next to the subway station (a littile bit up the hill, but not a big deal). Clean, comfortable and quiet.

We lived on the 3rd floor, the bathroom was pretty cold (in April), had to use the one on the 2nd floor. Not enough space between the upper bank bed and the ceiling.

The place was really good and clean, the stuff was really friendly & helpful they provided us with so many information about the city and how to use Subway metro, they helped us a lot. At the end the place close to the Train Station maybe 2 minutes walking. It's highly recommend thank you.

We've spent really great time in this guest house. The rooms were really clean and comfortable. The owner was really kind and helpful. He gave us a lot of information about interesting places in Seoul that we can visit there.

Everything else was great. The staff was very kind and helpful, everything was very clean, the beds were a little hard but nothing unacceptable, and they provided toast with butter/jam and cereal for breakfast in the morning. The rooms were secure and the main area was nice to sit in.

The bathroom/shower in the room was a little weird...it was private enough to where no one would see anything but it basically reminded me of a shower area in an American bathroom with a toilet and sink sharing the space where normally just a shower would be. It was basically a shower stall in the bedroom. Also there was not a ton of space in the bedroom for luggage. I had just a backpack and carry-on suitcase so I was completely find, but having large suitcases to fit in the room could be problematic. The staff are very kind, though, and you can leave luggage sitting at the front desk to keep it out of the room if you need the space.

잠자리는 따뜻하고 좋았습니다. 화장실도 깨끗했어요. 저희는 방이 주인분 방밖에 남지않아서 주인분 방에서 잤는데 보일러도 잘 틀어주시고 천천히 나가도 된다고 얘기해주시고 친절하셨어요. 지하철역도 가까워요!!

너무 추웠어요. 드라이기가 구비되어있었으면 좋았을 것 같습니다.
